Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

We are currently hiring dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associates / Pallet Sorters and Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse operation. Multiple shifts are available with 7-day coverage and scheduling flexibility based on availability.

Candidates may be considered for Pallet Sorter, Forklift Operator, or general warehouse responsibilities based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and stack pallets according to grade, quality, and inventory requirements
  • Load and unload pallets, products, and materials from trailers
  • Move pallets and materials throughout warehouse and storage areas
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, when qualified
  • Stage materials and products for loading, unloading, and distribution
  • Inspect pallets, products, and loads to ensure quality standards are met and materials are secure
  • Remove trash, debris, and damaged materials from pallets and work areas
  • Follow inventory control procedures and accurately complete required production paperwork
  • Utilize warehouse and yard management systems as needed
  • Meet established productivity, efficiency, and performance expectations
  • Communicate with Shift Leads and On-Site Management regarding production and operational needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Follow all established safety procedures, operational standards, and PPE requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, pallet sorting, material handling, general labor, or related experience preferred
  • Previous forklift experience preferred for Forklift Operator assignments
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and material-handling equipment when assigned
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 35–75 lbs.
  • Basic math, reading, language, and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime when required
  • Must be able to successfully complete required background and drug screening

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent bending, stooping, turning, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movement
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move materials weighing up to 50–75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including heat, cold, outdoor elements, noise, and airborne particles
  • Good balance and hand-eye-foot coordination
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection
