Service Writer/Advisor

Terry County Tractor, a Kubota tractor and construction equipment dealership in Lubbock, TX, is hiring an experienced Service Writer/Service Advisor to join our service department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and being the go-to link between our shop and the people who depend on their equipment.

**What You'll Do**

- Greet customers and write up detailed, accurate repair orders for tractors, construction equipment, and related machinery

- Communicate with customers about repair recommendations, timelines, and costs, and keep them updated throughout the repair process

- Coordinate with technicians to schedule work, track job progress, and ensure repairs are completed efficiently

- Order parts as needed and work with the parts department to keep jobs moving

- Prepare invoices, process warranty claims, and maintain accurate service records

- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships

- Help maintain a clean, professional, and safe service department

**What We're Looking For**

- Previous experience as a service writer/advisor, ideally in powersports, agricultural, or construction equipment

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Comfortable using computer software for repair orders, invoicing, and scheduling

- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a busy shop environment

- Basic mechanical knowledge helpful, but the ability to translate technician findings into clear customer communication is key

- Dependable, professional, and a team player
