Accounts Payable Clerk San Antonio, TX 78221Type: 6-month contract with direct hire possibleCompensation: $20.00 - $22.00Work Model: OnsiteHours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm System One is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in San Antonio, TX for a 6-month contract opportunity with direct hire possible.Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including matching invoices, receivers, and purchase orders.
  • Obtain invoice approval, lien waivers, and letters of credit.
  • Verify approved insurance and bonds.
  • Respond to assigned queries accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely communication.
  • Research source documents and prepare basic accounting reports.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and develop positive relationships with vendors, procurement, and project management teams.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Maintain rental tracking spreadsheets and monitor the status of lien waivers from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Participate in Invoice Transaction Log meetings and update logs accordingly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel (beginner/intermediate) and Microsoft Office (Teams and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
