You'll oversee site safety, quality assurance, scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day construction operations while working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, architects, inspectors, and other project partners.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, solves problems proactively, and takes pride in creating a safe, organized, efficient, and high-quality jobsite.What You'll DoLead and manage construction site activities from project startup through deliveryServe as a primary Pavilion point of contact for construction site communications and operationsAdminister the site safety plan and promote safe working conditions throughout the projectAssist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining a site-specific safety planCommunicate and enforce safety expectations with Pavilion staff, subcontractors, and other trade partnersCoordinate subcontractor pre-construction meetings and verify required agreements and documentation are in place before work beginsCreate, publish, communicate, administer, and update the four-week production scheduleWork closely with the Project Manager to maintain alignment with the overall project schedule and budget goalsHold subcontractors and suppliers accountable to their scopes of work, contract terms, schedules, and production expectationsMaintain an organized, clean, professional, and efficient jobsite that reflects the Pavilion brandReview construction documents, plans, specifications, and bid documents to understand Pavilion's project obligationsIdentify deviations, inconsistencies, and conflicts in construction documents and coordinate their resolutionManage and communicate RFIs, ASIs, submittals, issue logs, and other project documentationMaintain complete record drawings and as-built information throughout the projectSupport Pavilion's quality assurance goals, policies, and proceduresCoordinate government and third-party inspections and facilitate timely resolution of non-conforming or non-compliant workAssist the Project Manager with punch list and project delivery proceduresIdentify and proactively resolve logistical, procedural, quality, scheduling, and scope-of-work conflictsInvestigate jobsite accidents and communicate details with the Project Manager and HRLead site coordination and weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and suppliersPrepare and maintain daily reports, daily photographs, meeting documentation, and other critical project recordsEnsure project documents are created and stored in compliance with Pavilion's Document Management ProtocolProvide leadership, direction, and professional development to Pavilion staff and, when applicable, Assistant SuperintendentsEvaluate subcontractor and supplier performance at project completion and communicate performance considerations with Project Management and Estimating/PurchasingWhat You'll BringWe're looking for a Superintendent who is:A strong construction leader who takes ownership of the jobsite and project outcomesExperienced in construction site safety, quality assurance, scheduling, and field coordinationHighly organized and able to coordinate numerous activities and groups of people in a collaborative environmentA clear and effective written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiating skillsA proactive problem solver who can identify conflicts and work toward timely, effective resolutionsExperienced in reading and interpreting construction documents, plans, specifications, and bidding documentsComfortable communicating with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal project teamsKnowledgeable in project scheduling, production planning, and subcontractor coordinationComfortable working under pressure while maintaining professionalism, organization, and attention to detailStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and ViewpointKnowledgeable in dispute resolution and financial and job cost accountingCommitted to continued professional development and helping those around you growWhy Pavilion?At Pavilion, we believe great projects are built by great people.You'll join a growing construction company where mentorship, performance, and leadership are valued-and where your contributions can make a visible difference.
