Established in 1994, Layne’s is the “Born and Breaded in Texas” chicken finger restaurant. Our culture stems from our roots in College Station, where we perfected our chicken-finger frying technique. The Role

As a Cashier, your main responsibility is taking care of our guests, starting with a warm greeting. Every guest should feel as though they are attending a party we are hosting just for them.

You will ensure guests receive their food in a timely manner and have the condiments, beverages, and anything else they need to make their visit to Layne’s special. You will also help keep the restaurant immaculate so guests can relax and enjoy their food in a clean, tidy environment.

A huge part of who we are is our fun-loving, non-corporate environment. As a Layne’s Cashier, you will be part of a culture that ensures everyone has fun while serving guests our “Soon-to-Be-Famous” Chicken Fingers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the smiling face of the organization by greeting and kindly assisting guests.
• Clean tables to ensure new guests have a great experience.
• Restock the condiment station.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Interact with guests and have fun.

Additional Requirements

• Fast-food experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry 10 to 55 lbs.
