Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to provide excellent patient care and support our daily office operations.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Greet patients, take vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with medical procedures.
• Medication: Administer medications, including injections and inhalation treatments.
• Chart Prep & Admin: Prepare patient charts for physicians, manage electronic health records (EHR), schedule appointments, and handle referrals.
• Patient Support: Answer inquiries, provide exceptional customer service, and educate patients on treatments.
• Clinic Safety: Maintain a clean work environment and follow infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures.
• Experience with EHR systems and medication administration.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well in a team.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic.

Hope center has been part of the community for over 40 years, We have have 2 locations employing over 60 employees with the common goal to are for cancer patients in our community. We have 3 physicians and 4 practioners
