General Assembly

Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and repairing electrical and electronic systems and components. Ensures products meet quality and safety standards by following schematics, specifications, and work instructions. Supports production efficiency through collaboration, material handling, and maintaining organized, accurate work processes.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect/test wiring, circuits, and assemblies; record results
• Assemble and install electrical/electronic components and systems
• Repair or replace defective parts to meet specifications
• Clean parts and maintain equipment
• Read schematics, blueprints, and work orders
• Tag components for inventory tracking
• Align and adjust parts for assembly
• Package finished products for shipment
• Collaborate with leads/engineers to resolve issues
• Train others on assembly procedures
• Fabricate parts using tools (drills, cutters, saws)
• Drill/tap holes for mounting components
• Paint structures as required
• Distribute materials to work areas

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or 1–2 years of related experience
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read technical documents
• Strong communication and dependability

Schedule:
Mon–Thurs 6:30am–3:30pm, Fri 6:30am–12:30pm (flexible as needed)
