The purpose of this role is to support a high-growth and highly acquisitive,
PE-backed, mission-focused fire and life safety platform. The Payroll
Administrator will be detail-oriented and experienced in processing and
managing payroll for multiple business entities. The ideal candidate will have
a strong background in payroll operations, compliance, and reporting, with
hands-on experience using ADP systems.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, discretion, and the ability to work
independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be a
proactive self-starter who takes ownership of the payroll function and drives
continuous improvement.

Activities & Accountabilities
Administer end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities on a
weekly and bi-weekly basis using ADP
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour
laws and best practices
Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data, tax
information, and benefit deductions
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee
compensation and benefits data
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to internal stakeholders and
respond to audit requests
Manage year-end processes including W-2s, tax filings, and
reconciliations
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and ADP system
updates
Maintain appropriate controls to prevent fraud and protect confidential
data
