Job Description

WhatYou GetToDo:

TheMaintenanceAssociate'sprimary responsibility is to ensure that all preventive,correctiveand renovative maintenance needs of assigned buildings, grounds, and vehicles are completedin accordance withlicensure and regulations. This position is also responsibleto completemaintenancerepairsas necessary.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are wellmaintainedand in good repair at all times
  • Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning
  • Assistin the coordinationof the maintenance and repair ofDungarvin'sfleet of vehicles
  • Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs
  • ensurean organized, responsible, and controlled manner ofacquiringandmaintainingall tools, equipment and keys belonging to the organization.
  • Ensure maintenance documentation is completed andmaintainedfor all repairs.
Qualifications

What makes youa greatfit:

  • High school diplomaor GED
  • Two (2)yearsexperiencein building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
  • Mustpossessabilityto evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
  • Musthave good decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexibility tobeon-callasneed, and able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Appropriate transportation and basic toolsrequired.
  • Ability to be on call in eveningsandweekends
  • Good communicationis key in this role.You’llrely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
