Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to customer and store specifications
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and product quality
- Properly label, rotate, and store products to ensure freshness
- Assist customers with product recommendations and special requests
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
- Support daily department operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Previous butcher or meat cutting experience required
- Knowledge of meat cuts, trimming techniques, and food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused
- Ability to lift heavy products and work in refrigerated environments
- Flexible availability preferred
Preferred Experience
- Meat Cutting certification is a plus
- Experience in retail meat markets or food production environments
