Job Summary

Keep assigned workstations supplied with materials, and transport sorted products to the corresponding line with the correct label.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Keep workstations supplied with materials

Remove gaylords or banded and properly secured pallets of finished product from your work area

Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 50 pounds or more

Maintain product lines organized

Track production information

Locate and deliver boxes and pallets using a hand truck or pallet jack

Organize material on the production floor or in the inventory warehouse

Clean and organize the warehouse as needed and at the end of the day

Pick up trash and fill/move a six-yard dumpster

Collect cardboard and dispose of it in a designated trailer

Depending on needs, a material handler may be assigned to manually count materials in boxes

Perform other duties as assigned

Follow safety procedures

Qualifications

Fluent in Spanish

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Candidates must be physically able to stand and remain in motion throughout the day. Must be able to bend, lift, and reach

Additional Notes:

This is a physically demanding job that requires focus and endurance. Additionally, the warehouse is not climate-controlled and experiences low temperatures in the winter and high temperatures in the summer.

Resumen del Puesto

Mantener las estaciones de trabajo asignadas abastecidas con materiales y transportar los productos clasificados a la lnea correspondiente con la etiqueta correcta.

Deberes y Responsabilidades Esenciales

Mantener las estaciones de trabajo abastecidas con materiales

Retirar del rea de trabajo contenedores gaylord o tarimas flejadas y debidamente aseguradas con producto terminado

Levantar y/o mover regularmente objetos con un peso de 50 libras o ms

Mantener las lneas de productos organizadas

Llevar el registro de la informacin de produccin

Localizar y entregar cajas y tarimas utilizando un patn hidrulico o una carretilla de mano

Organizar el material en el piso de produccin o en el almacn de inventario

Limpiar y organizar el almacn segn sea necesario y al final de la jornada

Recoger la basura y llenar/mover un contenedor de seis yardas

Recolectar cartn y desecharlo en el remolque designado

Dependiendo de las necesidades, se puede asignar al auxiliar de manejo de materiales la tarea de contar manualmente los materiales en las cajas

Realizar otras funciones que le sean asignadas

Requisitos

Dominio fluido del espaol

Certificado de preparatoria o experiencia equivalente

Los candidatos deben tener la capacidad fsica de permanecer de pie y en constante movimiento durante todo el da. Deben ser capaces de agacharse, levantar peso y estirarse.

Notas Adicionales:

Este es un trabajo fsicamente exigente que requiere concentracin y resistencia. Adems, el almacn no cuenta con aire acondicionado ni calefaccin, por lo que se experimentan bajas temperaturas en invierno y altas temperaturas en verano.
