We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher at the Huntington Learning Center, you will instruct students one on one or in a small group of 3 to 4 students, instructing a comprehensive educational curriculum designed by the Huntington team of Directors. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!
Responsibilities:- Instruct students on the Huntington curriculum that meets school standards
- Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
- Grade in class assignments and provide feedback
- Document students’ learning progress
- Collaborate with the team to create a productive learning environment
- Report and document behavioral incidents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Texas teaching certification (recommended)
- Previous experience teaching k-12 students
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education
- Ability to closely adhere to the Huntington curriculum guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
