Public Space Housekeeping- Vitria on the Square

Vitria on the Square located in Columbus, Ohio is searching for a Houseperson and a Public Space Attendant to join our team!

Job Summary:

Performs housekeeping duties to accommodate guest needs, ensures cleanliness of public spaces as well as office areas, attends to linen needs, and prepares Housekeeping department for next business day.

Essential Functions:

1. Completes daily checklist
2. Accommodates guest/departmental needs/requests by responding to requests
3. Help other colleagues to accomplish shift/assigned job duties
4. Attends to lobby and public spaces to ensure cleanliness including public/employee restrooms and refuse
5. Clean, organize, and stock all linen closets
6. Stock and organize housekeeping supply room, housekeeping supplies, and guest supplies
7. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department

Physical Requirements:

These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the position.

1. Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally, climb ladder, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to bend, squat, lift arms, push and pull

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Housekeeping experience preferred.
3. Great attention to details
4. Able to follow basic instructions
5. Communication Skills
