Currently a department of one,ourVP of People & Culture is managing thewhole ofUnlimited’sHuman Capital roadmap.At30,000 feet: serving as abusiness partner toUnlimited’sC-suite and investment partner; at10,000 feet:enablingleadership andhelpingtodriveUnlimited’svalue creation planthroughlong-anticipatedtalentprojects, employee relations,and successionplanning; and attheground level:managing end-to-endadministration andproject delivery.Critical priorities live at eachaltitude, requiringconcurrentand competingattention and care, and withonly asingleHuman Capitalrepresentativethere areefforts and audiencesat risk of beingunderserved.

The Position

A full-time, hybrid role reporting totheVP of People & Culture,theHRBPwill workfrequentlyfrom our headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.Residency in the state of Ohio is preferred.

AsHRBP, you will be the “people’schampion”.While the VP ofP&C stays aligned tothe Board,drivingleadershipaccountability and actingas a bridge anddriverofvalue creationforthe business, you will be thebusinesspartner thatengagesand empowersourworkingmanagersand their teams, ensuringthe pedal stays to the flooronthetalentinitiatives driving performanceandtalentdevelopmentwithintheorganization.You’llcollaborate on the strategy and directiondrivingHuman CapitalresultsforUnlimited andrepresentapresence ofconstancy,partnership, support, and HRaccountability across the workforce.

This position will be accountable for:

• Evaluating existing payroll andbenefitsvendors, tools, and monthly, quarterly, and annual processesand renewals; presenting a recommendationforthe most cost-effective, compliant, and scalableHRsolution for Unlimited Systems.As relevant:working with chosen vendor to prepare, and/orfully process and manage,UnlimitedSystems’payroll and benefitsadministration.
• Evaluating existing policies, procedures, andemployeehandbook;identifyingandaddressing policygaps and managingthedistribution andglobal workforceacknowledgementofarefreshed handbook.
• Partnering withtheVP of People & Culture to develop job architecture across theorganization;ensuring job descriptions are created and distributed across the organization with accompanyingcompensation bands.
• MaintainingUnlimited’sHR housekeeping; converting personnel files to digital records, organizing up-to-dateemployee documentation including but not limited toemployee offer letters,employeeagreements,contractor agreements, equity grant distributions, etc.
• Evaluating the businessneed, ROI, and programmatic requirements for introducinganUnlimited Systems internship programand making a strategic recommendation for how and when to bring it forward within the organization.
• Partnering with working leaders across the organizationtomanageemployee relations;offeringresourcesand support on policy compliance,employeeescalations, leave administration, offboarding, and more.

• ManagingUnlimited System's hiring pipeline andfull-cycletalentacquisitionforthe organization;apart fromrecruiter-managed searchesor searches requiring Board involvement, you willmanagetheinternalcoordinationandallstrategicactivitiessurroundingUnlimited’stalent acquisition.
• Partnering with working leaders to sourcetalent insightssurroundingheadcount contraction orgrowth andbringing those insights back to the People team toinformsuccession planningfor the organization.
• Scaling our talent acquisition processes foranticipatedvolume andgrowth andrefining ourtalentstrategyto model best-in-classhiringpractices.
• Leading our onboarding experience; implementingemployeeimmersionprogramsandsupporting the first 90-day IC experience at Unlimited Systems.
• Informing our employer branding andadvisinghow Unlimited Systems can better market itself to enrich its talent pipeline within and aroundCincinnati andattract top talent as an employer of choice.

• Driving employee listening within the organization; championingeNPSbenchmarking and sentiment trending within the organization, engaging with internal communicationsviaLattice, Slack, Confluence, and other internal employee systems, and helping tofacilitateUnlimited’sannual Top Workplaces survey. Listening, synthesizing, and bringing insights back to the People team for strategic review, prioritization, and actionable response.
• Helping to drivestrategic People & Culture programs through all ranks of theorganization;ensuring initiatives for performance enablement and employee development aresupportedthrough every leveland to every employee.
• Participating in the facilitation of companyevents;including but not limited to,monthly All Hands meetings, quarterly leadership development events, and annual employee summits.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, orarelated field
• 5-10years of progressive HR experience
• Experience guiding leaders through company change, handling employee escalations, and planning for future hiring
• Strong business acumen,and theability to analyze and apply datainsights
• Strong communication, and the ability toadapt communication styles to various audiences in varying arenas

Preferred

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification
