BZ Diesel Repair is a rapidly growing diesel repair shop in North Houston that services 130+ semi trucks and trailers operating under its sister trucking company, BZ Express, as well as external customers. We provide superior diagnostics services, complete engine, suspension, transmission and air conditioning systems work. In addition to servicing semi trucks and trailers, we added heavy towing capabilities and are a DPS-licensed State safety inspection facility.
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our team and help keep our fleet road-ready and DOT compliant. You’ll inspect trucks/trailers, manage equipment inventory, handle road service calls, support repowering services nationwide, and help with local pickups & deliveries when needed. Will regularly work outside in the yard.
Job Duties Include:
- Communicate with drivers to resolve issues
- Inspect incoming equipment for safety, compliance & readiness
- Coordinate inspections and report findings
- Perform regular equipment checks
- Maintain DOT compliance records
- Collaborate with Safety & Accounting
- Respond to road service calls and assist drivers
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on the go
- Assist with repowering operations across the country when needed
- Cover short-distance hauls when drivers are unavailable when needed
- Keep accurate records of inspections and maintenance
- Ensure operations meet safety and DOT regulations

Qualifications:
- CDL Class A license A MUST
- Bilingual in Spanish is A MUST
- Trucking industry experience
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules Basic
- Familiarity with trucking parts & services is a plus
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Must be a team player and fast learner
