BZ Diesel Repair — a brand-new, full-service diesel repair shop in North Houston — is expanding our elite team of technicians. We proudly service over 100+ trucks and trailers from our sister company, BZ Express, as well as independent owner-operators and fleet customers.
We are looking for a Diesel Repair Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in top-quality workmanship, diagnostic accuracy, and reliability. If you’re a problem-solver who thrives in a busy, professional shop environment, we’d love to have you on our team.
Job Duties Include:
- Perform general semi-truck and trailer inspections & repairs
- Conduct suspension, transmission, and driveline work (Meritor, Eaton, Fuller, Volvo iShift, Mercedes, Allison)
- Carry out in-frame and out-of-frame engine rebuilds
- Use dealer-level diagnostic software for advanced troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair Volvo, Detroit DD13/DD15/DD16, Detroit 60-Series, Cummins X15, Paccar engines
- Handle after-treatment systems, including DOC/DPF cleaning
- Perform ABS, A/C, and electrical system troubleshooting and repairs
- Complete kingpin replacements, differential rebuilds, and trailer inspections

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of diesel engine experience (heavy-duty preferred)
- Strong electronic troubleshooting and computer diagnostics skills
- Experience with suspension, transmission, and air conditioning systems
- State inspection certification preferred (not required)
- Must provide own tools
- Must have welding experience
- Strong English communication skills
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Houston, TX 77073 before starting
