The Drafter will be responsible for coordinating onsite work with the sales support team, engineering team, designers, purchasing/requisitions and special project team personnel, as well as working alongside production management staff. The successful Drafter will ensure that projects are completed safely and accurately, and in a timely manner to meet customer and shipping goals.

Experienced Seafood Processors needed for our shore-based production plants located in Dutch Harbor, Alaska For Westward Seafoods and The Northern Victor. You will need to apply and attend a Virtual Interview.

WSI processes several species of seafood including Pollock, Crab, Pacific Cod, Halibut and Sablefish. Production employees process raw product that is delivered from fishing vessels to sell to customers. Processors can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to: butchering, sorting, filleting, and case-up. Processors are also required to participate in plant clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires the candidate have the ability to perform the physical requirements including; standing in place for long periods of time; repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs, and back; regularly lift and move 50 lbs; frequent rotations and twisting at the waist; frequent climbing and descending of stairs; working long hours in cold/wet environments (12+ hours per day, 7 days a week); and prompt and regular attendance. Overtime is available.
WSI has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck. All WSI employees are required to wear protective safety gear where required and are responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for self and others. Dislodge and remove drifts and debris (trees, limbs, brush, vines, trash and refuse) from channel berms, slopes and bottoms for proper disposal. Drive trash truck to and from job sites, dump sites or landfills. Check and maintain all equipment fluids, perform daily inspection(s) and fuel and wash equipment, as needed. Report necessary replacement or repair of defective equipment to supervisor. May perform other duties that can be added or changed as the course and scope of the job directs.

The Harris County Flood Control District is seeking exceptional, detail-oriented and qualified candidates for the role of Utility Coordinator.
The Utility Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the District's private utility coordination including utility conflict identification, relocation, and necessary pay-out items. This position will also assist and work closely with the District's project managers and utility sub- consultants in tracking private utility projects.
Job Duties: Oversee the review of design plans and the utility conflict table for accuracy. Issues utility notifications and coordinates office/field meetings with team members, external utility representatives, and consultants when needed. Process all purchase order requests including follow-up and distribution. Create and distribute all department correspondence including letters, memos, requests for invoices, etc. Coordinate agenda items for Commissioners' Court, including after court action items. Maintain, track and resolve issues with utility relocation schedules to ensure completion of tasks by agreed-upon dates. Provide bi-monthly status update reports and leads the utility coordination & management team status update briefings. Oversee contractor’s workload, assist in prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met. Lead and participate in department initiatives and process improvements. Perform other duties that may be added or changed as the course and scope of the job directs.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar curriculum (preferred) Five (5) years of experience with utility coordination or a related public works field Experience working with government agencies and their governing bodies (preferred) Professional Engineer Registration (State of Texas) Valid Class "C" Texas Driver’s License Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and managerial skills Can work independently with limited supervision Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and/or assignments Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Good diagnostic and analytical skills Excellent skills using project management tools and systems. Solid knowledge/understanding of Federal, State, and local rules, regulations and standards related to engineering and construction management.
