Dewey has an immediate opening for dependable safety oriented Facilities Maintenance Helper. Who is willing to grow in knowledge and increase their responsibilities in the workplace.
Job Duties: Landscaping duties around yard (operation of lawn equipment) Perform general maintenance around the yard, shop, and office (general electrical and plumbing) Maintain shop floors for cleanliness in and around machines, tools, and equipment Operate a forklift (Training Provided) Assist Diesel Mechanics in the shop as needed (Working on tires, Large Trucks, Forklifts, Small Lawn Equipment, etc.) Order and keep inventory of all parts (some driving required) Use Company vehicle to deliver paperwork and parts between vendors and yards 50/50 Inside and Outside work

Qualifications: Maintenance experience 1 year preferred Must Have A Valid Texas Drivers License Must have a Clean Driving Record Pass a background Check Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time Must have basic Plumbing and Electrical Knowledge Must be able to operate Power tools (chainsaw, power drill, skill saw) Must have reliable transportation to and from work Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus but not required Weekends as needed
