This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. The position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capability to stand for extended periods.
Job Duties:
Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic. Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios. Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds. Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Responsabilidades: Manejo de mquinas o equipos - Manejar equipos y mquinas bsicos y realizar tareas rutinarias. Utilizacin de equipos de precisin - Interpretar y utilizar equipos/instrumentos de medicin de precisin como micrmetros, relojes comparadores y medidores de profundidad. Instrucciones y planos - Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos y tolerancias geomtricas. Comunicaciones internas - Intercambiar informacin con las personas teniendo interacciones corteses con ellas. Polticas y procedimientos - Trabaja con orientacin para comprender las polticas y los procedimientos, al tiempo que se asegura de que coincidan con las estrategias y los objetivos de la organizacin. Requisitos: HS Diploma / GED y / o 1-3 aos de experiencia relevante de mecanizado en un entorno de fabricacin o reparacin de operar tornos manuales, fresadoras o tornos CNC / fresas. Experiencia en autoprogramacin o edicin de programas. Destreza con herramientas de medicin de precisin, como calibres y micrmetros. Capacidad para trabajar en el turno de noche. Utiliza habilidades de comunicacin verbal claras y eficaces para expresar ideas y solicitar acciones. Trabaja con orientacin para planificar, organizar y priorizar actividades a fin de cumplir eficazmente los objetivos empresariales. Aplica conceptos elementales para gestionar y aplicar sistemas de trabajo seguros. Experiencia / habilidades preferidas: Experiencia en el mecanizado de piezas o productos similares.
