Overview: As a Physical Therapist and movement expert, you'll have the opportunity to improve patient quality of life through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Addressing motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, gait, etc. Interviewing children and family members, using physical examination to diagnose movement disorder. Ability to evaluate and treat patient from 18yrs old and older. Float to adult units if needed if pediatric patient census fluctuates. Evaluates and treats pediatric patients from birth to 18yrs old, regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders. Settings include inpatient, inpatient emergency department.
