Ensure a high quality product is coming off the machine.Conduct quality checks to ensure boxes have required dimensions and zero material defects. Lead machine crew with setups/change overs. Problem solve when issues with the machine arise. Complete necessary reports. Other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED. Strong safety background and good attendance record. Works well in a team environment. Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends. Strong mechanical aptitude and be good communicator. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience operating corrugated printing equipment. Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment, with an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.

Principle Accountabilities: Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste. Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications:High School Graduate or GED. Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test. Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend and sit for extended hours.
