Assesses the patient’s condition and nursing care needs2. Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients3. Develops individual nursing care plans4. Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed5. Evaluates patient care outcomes6. Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees7. Administers medications, treatments and therapies.8. Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.9. Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition.10. Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.Nonessential Functions1. Maintains facility equipment, supplies and work areas.2.
