The Maternal Transport RN practices in accordance with philosophy, policies, procedures and standards of the hospital: functions within the guidelines of the protocols for the transport program that are reviewed and agreed on by the HCA Midwest Maternal Transport Leadership Team. No experience needed, entry-level **Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities, heart attacks, or other cardiac conditionsadminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medicationsperform assessments of patients' cardiac status, including physical assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate symptomsprovide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practicesReact promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress, necessitating immediate implementation of emergency procedures, administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and aiding in defibrillation and other crucial life-saving measures Qualifications: Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
