RoleThe Identity Solutions team leads the development and delivery of innovative products that help partners identify their customers and enable simple and secure digital experiences for consumers in payments and beyond.A critical area within Identity Solutions is the Payment Verification team which develops global ecommerce identity risk insights and data sharing services to verify consumer identities, reduce payment fraud and increase conversion rates across the payments ecosystem, all leading to better customer experiences.The team is seeking a Senior Specialist of Product Development for digital payment risk assessment solutions who will:• Drive product development of identity risk AI model-based services for digital commerce, including network tokens and wallets in partnership with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, authentication product, regional partners and commercialization. This role will focus specifically on supporting Authentication Risk Solutions used to provide risk scores and on-behalf-of authentication services to both issuers and acquirers • Translate market needs into product strategy to ensure profitable growth of Payment Verification services• Evaluate and prioritize product and feature ideas, markets and opportunities based on customer insight, market opportunity, and team objectives• Manage development of business requirements with engineering and data science teams; actively monitor and manage holistic product development schedule• Define and monitor success metrics and KPIs to ensure effectiveness of product offerings• Ensure KPIs, product documentation, training, and other necessary components are completed as products transition from development to operational phases of their lifecycle.• Develop and drive the execution of go-to-market plans with commercialization and regional teams• Partner with other Mastercard product areas to deliver customer-focused, holistic value propositionsAll About You• Demonstrable experience in product conceptualization, design, and commercialization and/or data science; past experience of Product Management, Data Science or related role preferred• Experience and/or knowledge of digital identity, machine learning models, ecommerce, payments fraud, card testing attacks, EMV 3D-Secure specifications, and security technologies are preferred• Demonstrated track record achieving business objectives and building business relationships within a large matrixed organization• Experience translating and applying customer feedback (internal, external) for product development• Proven project management, organization, and thought leadership skills with ability to build, lead, and maintain strong, productive working relationships• Ability to write SQL queries and Python scripts• Comfortable with ambiguity and resilient when tackling challenges • Ability to analyze complex issues and provide direction towards resolution• An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with a bias for action• Strong written and verbal communication; can effectively articulate product decisions to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or MBA is helpful#securitysolutions#AIMastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
