GovFirst is seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Drivers to support on-call transportation and operational needs in Tomsbrook, VA.
The successful candidate is responsible for:
- Operate CDL Class B vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform on-call driving assignments for transportation, delivery, and operational support services.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating condition.
- Transport equipment, materials, or personnel as assigned.
- Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required documentation.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and instructions from dispatch or project management.
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws always.
- Respond to short-notice or emergency driving assignments as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project management.
