About the Role

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is a leading U.S.-based staffing and workforce solutions provider serving the aviation, aerospace manufacturing, defense, and ground transportation industries. We are building an India-based recruiting team that works as a direct extension of our U.S. recruiting operations.

As a Recruiter – Aviation, you will identify, engage, qualify, and submit candidates for contract staffing opportunities across the aviation industry, including Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) providers, OEMs, airlines, and related aviation businesses. You will work closely with Account Managers and recruiters to fill time-sensitive, technical requirements.

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven recruiting professional who builds strong candidate pipelines, responds quickly to client needs, and consistently converts submissions into interviews and starts. You will use Bullhorn ATS, Bullhorn Amplify, and AI-enabled recruitment tools to work efficiently, keep candidates engaged, and support the redeployment of existing contractors.

Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing and Pipeline Development
  • Proactively source candidates through Bullhorn, LAUNCH's internal database, job boards, resume databases, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified aviation professionals for current and anticipated requirements.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and specialized aviation positions.
  • Grow your industry network and contacts to generate leads, referrals, and market knowledge.
Recruitment and Fulfillment
  • Review job requirements with Account Managers and match the right candidate to the right opportunity.
  • Conduct phone screens to assess skills, experience, certifications, availability, compensation expectations, and work eligibility.
  • Submit qualified candidates to the internal team or client within established turnaround times.
  • Coordinate interviews, follow up on feedback, and keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
  • Manage client-specific pre-employment steps and support offer acceptance, onboarding, compliance, and placement.
  • Follow up consistently to minimize drop-offs and improve conversion from submission to start.
Candidate Relationship Management
  • Build lasting relationships with candidates and contractors, keeping them informed on opportunities, interviews, offers, and assignment status.
  • Identify redeployment opportunities for existing contractors when assignments end or new roles open.
  • Deliver a professional candidate experience that strengthens LAUNCH's reputation in the aviation staffing market.
Technology and Process Discipline
  • Use Bullhorn ATS as the system of record for candidate profiles, job activity, submissions, and pipeline updates.
  • Leverage Bullhorn Amplify and approved AI tools to improve matching, sourcing, screening, outreach, and productivity.
  • Keep candidate records, notes, statuses, and activity accurate and current, and document work clearly for hand-off to the U.S. team.
  • Follow established workflows, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Recommend improvements that increase sourcing effectiveness, reduce manual effort, and accelerate fulfillment.
Productivity and Performance
  • Manage multiple open requirements at once, prioritizing urgent and high-probability opportunities.
  • Monitor pipelines and proactively resolve bottlenecks that delay submissions or placements.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and delivery teams to share candidates, improve coverage, and support company growth.
  • Provide extended-hour or weekend coverage when business needs require it, and support special projects and overflow from other teams.

Performance is measured against individual and team targets for qualified submissions per week, time-to-submit, job fill ratio, submission-to-interview ratio, starts per week, contractor redeployment rate, and ATS compliance. Specific targets depend on specialization, job volume, account needs, and market conditions.

Required Qualifications
  • 0-1 years of hands-on recruitment experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, or OEM staffing.
  • Willingness to learn aviation technical roles and credentials, such as FAA A&P licensing and airframe, powerplant, and avionics specialties.
  • Proven sourcing skills, including Boolean search and active use of LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, screen, engage, and qualify candidates effectively.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (Bullhorn preferred) and disciplined record keeping.
  • Excellent written and spoken English suited to professional communication with U.S. colleagues and candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple open requirements and meet time-sensitive recruitment targets.
  • Ability to work independently for most of the shift and document work clearly for the next team to pick up.
  • Comfort with technology, AI-enabled recruitment tools, and data-driven workflows.
  • Ability to work from Oak Brook, IL Corporate office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for contract, temporary, or contingent staffing roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Bullhorn ATS and Bullhorn Amplify.
