About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced attendant for our warehouse position. A warehouse attendant manages, organizes, and moves stock inside a storage facility or distribution center The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, and the ability to facilitate a positive culture. This role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring excellent customer service and managing inventory. The Warehouse Attendant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the warehouse, trucks and equipment.
Core Responsibilities:- Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and check items against purchase orders.
- Place products on racks, shelves, or bins
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Gathering materials and supplies from the stores for colleagues
- Conduct routine cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies with inventory databases, and monitor stock levels.
- Keeping the warehouse area clean, tidy and free from unnecessary hazards to uphold health and safety
- Some facilities maintenance including lawncare
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy loads (often 30 to 50+ pounds)
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems
- Basic vehicle mechanical experience
- Strong attention to detail to prevent fulfillment errors
- Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays.
