Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Supports production operations by receiving, staging, and delivering materials to manufacturing workstations, and by moving completed work between departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pull and deliver materials to production workstations per router and work orders
- Return excess or non-conforming material to appropriate locations
- Assist with physical inventory counts
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials
- Maintain material staging areas in an organized and labeled manner
- Record material movements in ERP system
- Report material shortages to planner or supervisor
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years material handling or warehouse experience
- Basic ERP or inventory system experience
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift operator certification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Continuous walking and lifting, exposure to manufacturing environment. PPE required.
