Macomb Post Acute Care Center is seeking a dependable Cook to join our team full-time. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality meals and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.28 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are appetizing, nutritious, and served on time
- Inspect meal trays to ensure residents receive the correct diets
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and facility policies
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup
- Support the dietary team as needed
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred
- Healthcare, nursing home, hospital, or food service experience is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and resident-focused
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
