The Retail Warehouse Associate drives sales and delivers an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and expert product knowledge. This seasonal role, paying $19–$20 per hour with potential conversion based on headcount and performance, combines customer-facing counter sales with back-of-house responsibilities, including inventory control, shipment receiving, forklift operation, and order processing. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing high-level service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide counter sales support and deliver responsive, knowledgeable customer service.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Receive trucks, record shipments, and assist with receiving operations.
- Operate stand-up forklifts and RF scanning equipment.
- Help load dealers and move inventory safely throughout the facility.
- Maintain the store’s appearance and support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Assist with scheduling, ordering, and opening and closing procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in counter sales and retail operations.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Experience with inventory management and receiving operations.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment.
- Forklift operation experience.
