Stroke & Chest Pain Quality Coordinator RN

A hospital in Rutherfordton, NC is seeking a mid-level Registered Nurse to serve as a Stroke & Chest Pain Quality Coordinator. This role is based on-site at a specific facility location and focuses on quality improvement initiatives across stroke and chest pain service lines.

The role. The Stroke & Chest Pain Quality Coordinator is responsible for leading quality and performance improvement efforts related to the care and treatment of heart and stroke patients. This includes chairing and facilitating meetings, presenting data and outcomes to stakeholder groups, and independently driving program initiatives forward. The coordinator will track and interpret relevant data, develop presentations, and function as a proactive subject matter resource across departments.

What we're looking for.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, chair, and facilitate meetings, including comfort with public speaking and presenting to groups
• 3–5 years of RN experience in the Emergency Department
• Experience in the care and treatment of heart and/or stroke patients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, data tracking and interpretation, and development of presentations
• Self-directed, proactive, and visionary a true "go-getter" who can independently drive initiatives forward

Compensation. $62,000 - $85,000 per year
