Job Overview
A2Z Interstate LLC is actively seeking reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Delivery Drivers / Appliance Installers to join our growing delivery operations throughout Metro Detroit.
This position involves the delivery, installation, and setup of household kitchen appliances while providing professional, white-glove service to residential customers.
Our crews operate in two-person teams consisting of a driver and a helper/installer, working together to complete scheduled deliveries and installations safely, efficiently, and professionally.
We operate Monday through Saturday, and the workday ends once the assigned route is fully completed. Daily hours may vary depending on route size, delivery locations, and installation requirements.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, understand the importance of customer satisfaction, and can consistently deliver a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport, deliver, and install household kitchen appliances, including dishwashers, microwaves, ranges, stoves, and wall ovens.
- No refrigerator deliveries or installations required.
- Work alongside a designated team member to complete daily delivery routes.
- Properly load, secure, unload, and handle appliances to prevent damage.
- Perform appliance installations according to manufacturer instructions, company procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
- Disconnect and remove existing appliances when required and authorized.
- Protect customers' homes, including floors, walls, countertops, and surrounding areas, throughout the delivery and installation process.
- Inspect appliances for visible damage and verify proper installation and basic functionality.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries, installations, and service expectations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, photographs, and proof of completed services.
- Keep assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Complete all assigned stops before ending the workday.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous appliance delivery or installation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with dishwashers, over-the-range microwaves, ranges, stoves, or wall ovens is highly desirable.
- Prior white-glove delivery, furniture delivery, or residential installation experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for driver positions.
- Ability to safely lift, maneuver, and transport heavy appliances with a team and appropriate equipment.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, installation hardware, and appliance connections.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location.
- Dependable attendance and availability Monday through Saturday.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and solve problems in the field.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and respect for customers and their property.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Saturday six-day workweek.
- Daily routes throughout the Metro Detroit area.
- Start times are determined by daily dispatch requirements.
- Route-based schedule: Your workday is complete when all assigned deliveries and installations are finished.
- Daily working hours vary based on route volume and complexity.
Compensation
- Pay is earned daily based on completed work.
- All accrued earnings are paid weekly.
