Entry Level IT Inventory Associate

Description:

This position is to provide support with the daily planning and management of physical assets across all of engineering data centers. The successful candidate will assist with the planning, tracking, and management of the physical hardware located in several lab locations. This is an entry level position.

Responsibilities include:

• Data entry and continued maintenance of information fed to a database with the information required for tracking assets throughout an asset's lifecycle
  
• Labeling of all major assets
  
• Work directly with technical support and engineering teams for locational deployment and dispensation of assets
  
• Assist in procurement planning, forecasting, and physical inventories within the labs
  
• Reconciliation of any inventory and database discrepancies found during inventory audits
  

Skills required:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel (Powerpoint and Visio are a plus)

• Basic technical skills for identifying various hardware platform types

• Organizational skills a must

• Project planning and implementation

• Detail oriented with data entry input and asset tracking

• Effective collaboration across multiple groups and customer communications required

• Must be able to lift items up to 40-50 lbs
