Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-qualitycritical care during air transport, prioritizing patient safety and clinicalexcellence
- Collaborate with flight crewmembers, referring and receiving healthcare teams, patients, and families tosupport coordinated care
- Follow company protocols,safety regulations, and established medical standards
- Participate in ongoingeducation and training to maintain clinical proficiency and readiness
Qualifications &Requirements
- Active RN license topractice in the state of employment
- At least 3 years of criticalcare and/or emergency nursing experience; 5 years preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALScertifications
- Current certification in atleast one of the following: TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS
- NRP and instructorcertifications preferred
- CFRN certification within 24months of hire
- Previous flight or transportnursing experience preferred
- Successful completion of theMedical Group education and orientation program
- Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members,patients, and external healthcare partners
- Basic computer proficiencyfor electronic charting and communication
- Ability to maintain a bodyweight below 215 pounds, in accordance with flight policy
- Ability to pass apre-placement physical examination, functional capacity assessmentincludingstrength, flexibility, and lifting up to 100 poundsand drug screening
