Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Cook County is hiring an Excavation Laborer to join our sewer and water line crew. If you like working outdoors, don't mind getting dirty, and want steady work with a team that will coach and train you, we'd like to hear from you. We're actively interviewing.
What you'll do
- Dig and backfill trenches for sewer and water line repairs and replacements, by hand and with equipment
- Help set up job sites with safety gear, shoring, barricades and cones
- Load, unload and clean tools, materials and equipment
- Restore sites afterward: backfill, compact, rake and clean up
- Work alongside our plumbers and follow safety rules on every job
What we're looking for
- Able to do physical outdoor work in all seasons and lift 50-100 lbs
- Reliable transportation to our Elk Grove Village office by 7:30am
- A valid driver's license (required)
- Construction, landscaping or excavation experience is a plus. We'll train the right person.
Pay: $18 - $35 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Saturday, with shifts usually 7:30am - 4pm or 9am - 6pm

Location: Report to our office at 30 Martin Lane, Elk Grove Village. Jobs are throughout Cook, Lake and McHenry Counties.
