CAD Designer:Sharon, WI
We are seeking an experiencedCAD Designerto support a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on 3D modeling, mechanical assemblies, detailed drawings, and production-ready designs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking designs from concept through detailed documentation and working with CAD models that directly support fabrication and manufacturing operations.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Develop accurate 3D parametric models for parts, components, and mechanical designs.
- Create and maintain detailed assemblies and subassemblies.
- Produce clear 2D manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, details, and information needed to support fabrication.
- Develop and modify table- and spreadsheet-driven parts/models.
- Import CAD files from other platforms and troubleshoot or repair model geometry when necessary.
- Create and manipulate DXF files and 2D geometry for use in CAM layouts and manufacturing processes.
- WorkwithAutodesk CAD software, with Autodesk Inventor experience strongly preferred.
- Prepare and modify design files to support CAM operations.
- Assist with design revisions and drawing updates as manufacturing requirements change.
- Maintain organized and accurate CAD models, drawings, and related design documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing personnel to ensure drawings and models are practical and usable in a production environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Education: Associate degree in engineering, preferrednotrequired; relevant experience will be considered
- Experience: 1+ years of experiencepreparing drawings or files that supportfabrication or manufacturing processes,required
- Software:CAD/CAM experience,required;Autodesk Inventor andOmniWin, preferred
- Ability:Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage drawing revisions accurately,required

Pay:$35.00 - $40.00/hour, based on experience
