The Project Safety Director helps establish project safety expectations, identifies and mitigates risk, monitors field activities, and ensures compliance with applicable OSHA requirements, company safety standards, and project-specific safety programs.
As a key member of the project leadership team, the Project Safety Director maintains a strong presence in the field and partners with construction teams to proactively address hazards and improve safety performance. The role supports high-risk activities common to data center construction, including electrical and mechanical installation, lifting and rigging, work at heights, equipment installation, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate brings strong construction safety experience, field credibility, and the ability to coach and influence project teams and trade partners while maintaining accountability for safe execution.
