Shipping / Receiving Associate
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Shipping / Receiving Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for handling materials throughout the warehouse, supporting production needs, and ensuring orders are accurately prepared for shipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Receive, unload, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
Pick and fill orders using pick lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
Prepare and load outgoing orders to meet customer and production requirements.
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
Inspect materials and orders for accuracy and completeness.
Operate stretch-wrap equipment and ensure materials are properly secured.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.
Forklift operating experience required.
Forklift and hand truck certification required.
Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions.
Basic computer skills are helpful but not required.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a warehouse environment.
Steel-toe boots or shoes are required.
Strong attendance and punctuality are essential. Candidates must be ready to work at their assigned workstation at the start of each shift.
A strong commitment to workplace safety is a must.
