Pay Range: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour on W2
Shift:6A-2:30PM- OT is required when needed and can be until 4:30PM or SaturdaysJob DescriptionThe Material Handler I will supply lines with raw materials and move unfinished goods through the manufacturing process utilizing a forklift.
Primary Job Responsibilities- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.
- Operate a stand-up and LP forklift safely.
- Supply raw materials where needed in the production process.
- Maintain kit carts where applicable.
- Facilitate movement of product through the production process.
- Adhere to receiving procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of parts and home locations.
- Manage and consolidate inventory in stockroom and other areas as directed.
- Participate in physical inventory activities.
- Utilize lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.
- Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
- Additional or updated duties as business demands change.
Physical Demands- Working at a fast pace.
- Sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time.
- Manually handling up to 50 pounds often by lift/push/pull.
- Working with the various distractions of a manufacturing environment.
- Bending, stooping, reaching occasionally.
