About the Position
Home For Life Advantage is hiring a Residential Construction Project Manager to coordinate home remodeling and accessibility projects throughout the Chicagoland area.
We're a family-owned company with over 30 years of experience helping homeowners create safer, more accessible living spaces.
This is a project planning and coordination role, not a hands-on construction position.
You'll be the main connection between homeowners, installation crews, subcontractors, and our office team. We're looking for someone who is organized, communicates well, and can keep multiple projects moving from start to finish.
What You'll Do
- Plan and coordinate residential remodeling and home modification projects
- Schedule construction crews, installers, subcontractors, and deliveries
- Communicate with homeowners regarding project timelines and updates
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and installation logistics
- Monitor multiple projects and address scheduling or construction delays
- Visit job sites to check progress and resolve concerns
- Maintain project schedules, records, and documentation
- Work with our sales and office teams to ensure successful project completion
What We're Looking For
- Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or project coordination
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service
- General understanding of construction processes and materials
- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems independently
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites
Preferred, but not required:
- Previous construction project management experience
- Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software
- Background in bathroom remodeling, residential renovations, or home improvement
