Project Manager

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Project Manager job in Florence, SC. This CONTRACT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multi-location, cross-functional teams to deliver new products and designs from concept through production and field deployment. In order to be successful in this position, you must have three plus years of project management experience leading multi-functional, global teams from concept through deployment. Preference will be given to someone with a BS in engineering and experience with Daptiv or similar project management tools.

Project Manager Job responsibilities:

• Coordinate with engineering and sub-system owners to ensure prototype and production drawings are ready and on schedule.
• Partner with supply chain and suppliers to resolve technical issues and track prototype parts delivery to plan.
• Coordinate prototype installation and testing, and track drawing changes based on test and installation feedback.
• Manage stakeholders, schedule, scope, cost, risk, interdependencies, and resources with the Program Manager.
• Plan, track, and communicate goals, schedule, cost, and milestones, and support gate and executive reviews.
• Facilitate team meetings and support initiatives to improve program management processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Three plus years of project management experience
• Associate degree required; BS in engineering preferred
• Experience leading multi-functional, global teams from concept through deployment
• Experience managing competing priorities, distributed teams, and cross-organizational stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Teams, Word, and Excel
• Strong communication and presentation skills

This contract Project Manager job is based in Florence, SC. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $45.00 - $50.00. Contractors working through Aquinas Consulting are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical indemnity coverage, a 401(k) plan, and biweekly direct deposit pay. Contract roles do not include PTO unless required by applicable state laws.
