Inspect, assemble, test, and prepare completed signs for shipment to ensure products meet quality standards and are properly packaged for delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders, production instructions, and technical drawings.
- Read and accurately use a tape measure to verify dimensions.
- Clean sign faces and install them into sign cabinets or prepare them for crating.
- Assemble sign cabinets and related components according to drawings and specifications.
- Install LED components, test electrical systems, and prepare sign cabinets and faces for shipment. Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical issues as needed.
- Properly label, package, crate, and prepare shipments for delivery.
- Safely operate and use equipment and tools, including:
- Accurately document materials used and work completed by completing work order travelers and related production paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable workplace requirements.
