Medical Assistant

Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a primary care clinic in Springfield, MA. This individual will provide hands-on patient care, including rooming patients, taking vitals, updating patient histories and medications in the EMR, performing phlebotomy, EKGs and vaccinations, collecting and labeling specimens, and assisting providers during exams and procedures. The Medical Assistant will also support patient check-in/check-out and follow-up, along with administrative tasks such as prior authorizations, referrals, medical records and phone calls.
