We are looking for a driven Sales Support specialist to join a wholesale distribution team in Greer, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys building interest with prospective clients, maintaining organized outreach efforts, and helping move new business conversations forward. The role blends lead follow-up, proactive prospecting, and accurate record management to support continued sales growth.
Responsibilities:
• Reach out to prospective menu clients to introduce product offerings and build interest through consistent outbound communication.
• Prepare and send sample packets to potential customers, then manage follow-up conversations until a clear buying decision is reached.
• Record interactions, updates, and next steps in the company system to keep prospect information current and actionable.
• Schedule future outreach activities and maintain an organized pipeline of leads, callbacks, and sales opportunities.
• Work through existing leads provided by the business while also identifying and engaging new prospects independently.
• Support inbound and outbound sales efforts by responding promptly to inquiries and helping advance opportunities through the sales process.• Experience supporting sales activities in an inside sales, outbound sales, or post-sales support environment.
• Ability to communicate confidently with prospective customers by phone and email.
• Strong follow-up skills with the discipline to manage outreach through final response or decision.
• Proficiency with order entry, note documentation, and maintaining accurate records in a sales tracking system.
• Comfortable balancing company-provided leads with independent prospecting activity.
• Organized work style with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and scheduled follow-ups effectively.
