RN Med Surg / Telemetry

Position: RN – Med Surg /Telemetry
Location:Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: November 16, 2026 – February 12, 2027
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend required; floating as needed; no on-call required.
Hours: 36 hours/week, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week

Additional Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate nursing license through a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state required.

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider or AHA-approved equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient setting.

• Demonstrate competency in delivering care to a primarily adult patient population.

• Apply nursing theory and practice in accordance with professional nursing standards.

• Demonstrate clinical competence in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment.
