ABOUT HAUSER PACKAGING
Hauser Packaging is a family-owned packaging distributor based in Portland's Old Port. For more than 30 years we have supplied glass bottles, DIAM corks and closures, capsules, Petainer kegs, and corrugated packaging to wineries, breweries, distilleries, cideries, and food producers across the East Coast and Midwest. We are an authorized DIAM Corks distributor.

THE ROLE
As our Inside Sales Representative, you will own a book of small and mid-size customer accounts and grow it by phone, email, and video. You will be the go-to contact for these customers: quoting, coordinating orders with our Customer Support team, keeping them informed on lead times and pricing, and finding new business. This is a hybrid role based in our Portland office, reporting to the General Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Manage and grow an assigned book of customer accounts
• Respond to inbound inquiries and turn them into orders
• Prepare accurate quotes from our price sheet and protect margin
• Cross-sell across glass, closures, capsules, kegs, and corrugate
• Prospect new accounts and reactivate lapsed ones by phone and email
• Collect customer forecasts and share them with Purchasing
• Log activity and pipeline in Dynamics 365 Sales
• Support trade shows and industry events as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING
• 2+ years of B2B inside sales, account management, or customer service with sales goals
• Clear, confident phone communication
• Strong writing skills: clear, accurate customer emails, quotes, and CRM notes
• Strong analytical and math skills for pricing, margin, and order quantities
• Strong organization across many accounts and deadlines
• Working skill with Microsoft 365 and a CRM
• Interest in wine, beer, spirits, or packaging (industry experience is a plus)
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales is a plus

PAY AND SCHEDULE
• Pay range: $22.00 to $28.50 per hour ($45,760 to $59,280 per year at 40 hours per week). Starting pay within this range depends on experience and skills.
• Non-exempt (hourly) and eligible for overtime
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Hybrid: 3 days per week in our Portland office, 2 days remote, after an initial in-office training period
