This role focuses on operating production machinery and assembling turbocharger components in a fast-paced, climate-controlled automotive manufacturing environment. You will perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand and power tools, follow detailed work instructions, and rotate between stations throughout your shift to support efficient, high-quality production.
ResponsibilitiesYou will join a stable, specialized automotive manufacturing environment with a clear path for advancement and a strong focus on employee development. Promotions are based on the number of machines you learn to operate rather than tenure, with each step in the career path typically accompanied by a significant pay increase. The organization offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan. You will work in a clean, climate-controlled facility that invests in training and supports long-term growth.
Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled production facility maintained at approximately 70 degrees year-round. Employees typically train on first shift (6:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.) for 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the machine assignment, with a strong preference for standard training hours. After training, you will work on 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. 6:00 a.m.), and there is a possibility of transitioning to a 12-hour swing shift in the future. The environment is employee-focused, with structured training and support, and involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, electric fastening tools, and production machinery for turbocharger assembly. The facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and consistent production processes.
