Resident EngineerCivil or Structural Engineering
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new full-time Resident Engineer opportunity available for a major engineering firm located in Islip, Long Island that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work schedule will be onsite on the firm’s Islip, Long Island office.
This position will be paying a competitive fulltime salary in the range of $90,000 - $110,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package, P.E (Professional Engineer) education reimbursement and a discretionary bonus structure.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to be the resident engineer for civil-structural related work. An immediate project is at the Narrows Electric Power Generating Station in Brooklyn, NY where we are overseeing the rehabilitation of a large pier including the encasement of piles below the waterline. Other current project sites include Astoria and Gowanus power plants.
Preferred Experience:
The ideal candidate should have either a civil or structural engineering education (PE or EIT not necessary but would be an added benefit) and possess field construction or construction oversight experience, particularly in the civil and/or structural disciplines.
