Responsibilities

• Assemble neurosurgical sponges in a cleanroom environment using a thread and sewing needle.
• Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures to complete each assembly step accurately.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks on a medical device production line while maintaining focus and quality.
• Use hand tools and sewing techniques to join materials precisely and securely.
• Inspect assembled components visually to verify quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with cleanroom and medical device standards.
• Handle materials and components carefully to avoid contamination or damage.
• Document work as required and follow production and quality control guidelines.

• Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and regulatory requirements associated with medical device manufacturing.

Work Environment

This position is based in a cleanroom medical device manufacturing environment, where strict cleanliness and contamination control standards apply. You will work on a production line performing repetitive assembly tasks with thread, sewing needles, and small components, following detailed work instructions. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an 8:30 a.m. start time on the first day. The environment emphasizes precision, consistency, and adherence to medical device quality and safety requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beverly, MA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
