Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a SAP GTS S/4HANA Functional Consultant position for our client.
Location: Rochester, MN
Duration: 4 months
Travel: Partial travel required
Duties:
Lead SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA) functional design and implementation to support compliant, efficient global trade operations.
Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and translate business, customs, and trade compliance requirements into scalable end-to-end processes across order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
Configure SAP GTS capabilities, including sanctioned-party screening, embargoes, legal controls, export licensing, product classification (HS/HTS and export control), preference determination, and import/export customs management.
Configure legal regulations, control classes, business partners, document types, license procedures, and determination strategies.
Ensure integration with SAP S/4HANA SD/MM, EWM/TM, and external customs brokers and trade content providers.
Lead functional testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), and support defect resolution.
Coordinate data migration and validation for business partners, ship-to data, product classifications, licenses, and trade preferences.
Support user training and adoption while ensuring auditability, regulatory recordkeeping, electronic archiving, and dual-use controls.
Identify process improvements and implement controls to reduce trade compliance risks and improve operational efficiency.
Skills:
Strong functional knowledge of SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
Expertise in global trade compliance, customs management, export controls, sanctioned-party screening, licensing, product classification, and trade preference management.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD/MM and related logistics processes, including EWM/TM.
Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, document process designs, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel partially as required.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting SAP GTS in an SAP S/4HANA environment, including hands-on configuration of trade compliance and customs processes.
Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA and external trade service providers.
Experience with end-to-end functional delivery, including requirements gathering, testing, data migration, defect resolution, and user enablement.
Understanding of international trade regulations, audit controls, and compliance recordkeeping.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
SAP GTS or SAP S/4HANA certifications preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90.00 to $95.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
